For language academies and institutes
Not a trial that switches off in March. A permanent free plan, no card, with courses, students, the tuition grid, attendance and the website included.
An academy starts its year in March. If the system you trialled switches off after thirty or ninety days, the cut lands in May or June — groups built, fees loaded, three months of attendance inside. By then you aren't choosing software: you're weighing how much work you lose by leaving.
The Siimplo free plan has no date. It's capped on student count, not on time, and the account opens without entering a card. If you never pay, you're still using it next year.
A small academy, or an institute just opening with two groups, can stay there indefinitely without running a cut-down version.
Courses with their weekly schedule and teacher, students hanging off the adult who pays, the tuition grid where each month is a record with its own status, and attendance taken per class against the group list.
Also the academy's public website, with its courses and schedules, included from the free plan. And AES-256-GCM encryption of sensitive fields, on all three plans, because protecting what you've entrusted to us shouldn't be a premium feature.
Plus the till with sales and receivables, which is the minimum needed to know how the month is going without running a spreadsheet alongside.
WhatsApp reminders and notifications. Meta charges for every message sent, so they can't be given away. They're what you miss when fees fall due and forty families need telling.
Then: teacher payroll, the parent portal, reporting, team management and additional locations. They're gated because they cost money to run, not to push you into paying.
Both paid plans have their price published. No quote request needed to know what you'd be walking into if you add groups next year and outgrow the free tier.
First, whether you can export. An academy that loads students, fees and attendance across a full year is tied to that system by accumulated work, not because it was the best one trialled. If the answer about exporting is vague, the vagueness is the answer.
Second, what happens next March when you add groups and the free plan runs out: whether the next tier's price is published or has to be requested by email, and whether the students you loaded stay put or it all gets rebuilt. Here both paid plans show their amount and moving up shifts nothing.
Third, duller and the one that hurts most: whether the system understands that the person studying and the person paying are different people. Software that puts the student and the mother in one record works until the first sibling, and after that there's no fixing it without rebuilding the database.
Each group with its day, hour, teacher and list.
The student attends, the adult gets the fee. Siblings stay together.
Each month with its amount and status, the whole year visible.
Against the group list, kept as history.
With your courses and schedules, from the free plan up.
Capped by student count, never by time.
The real portal, running right here. Go in and click anything.

Your academy on one screen the moment you log in — families, students and this month's collections.

Ask how to do anything in Siimplo and it walks you through it step by step, without leaving the screen you're on.

Every course with its language, level, weekly timetable, teacher and monthly fee — English, Italian, whatever you teach.

Mostly minors, each under the parent or adult who pays, with status, course history and contact details in one record.

Enrol a student in a course and the whole monthly tuition plan is written up front; withdraw and the future instalments go with it.

Students down, months across: every instalment scheduled, pending, partially paid, paid or waived — each one an invoice you can open.

Class sessions generated from the timetable, a roll call per session — present, absent, late or justified — and a substitute teacher when needed.

A monthly rate per weekly hour for each teacher; the monthly run adds it up and posts one payroll entry per teacher to the cash register.

The parents and adults who pay, with contact details and the students under each — the account every invoice is issued to.

Every invoice in one ledger — paid, partially paid, pending or draft — with the register built into the same screen.

Open and close the register with opening and expected balances, income, expenses and every movement tagged by payment method.

Tuition issued against tuition collected, your top debtors, and income, expenses and net profit for any period.

Client conversations kept in the record instead of scattered across personal phones, with unread counts and archiving.

Follow-up tasks tied to a client with due dates, so “I'll call them back” becomes something you can actually track.

Your staff roster with roles, last activity and access toggles, plus a permissions tab as the business grows.

Every way you collect — cash, card terminal, bank accounts — each with its currency and active state.

Run every branch of the academy from one account on the top plan, each with its own team, courses and register.
